SHOW

When does the sound wave take place?

The Klangwelle in Laxenburg Palace Park is open from August 15, 2024 to September 7, 2024 on the following days

Thursday to Saturday
15.08.-17.08.2024 (start of the show: 20:30, admission: 18:30)
22.08.-24.08.2024 (start of the show: 20:30; admission: 18:30)
29.08.-31.08.2024 (start of the show: 20:30; admission: 18:30)
05.09.-07.09.2024 (start of the show: 20:00; admission: 18:00)

Is the show suitable for children?

We ask for your understanding that children are only admitted from the age of 6. The show is not suitable for younger children due to the volume and duration.

Are dogs allowed at the show?

No. We ask for your understanding that dogs are not permitted at the show.

Are there toilets at the event site?

The toilet facilities are located at the entrance to the castle park in the ticket office area and directly in the show area.

Are the seats covered?

No. The event area is outdoors, without a roof.

What happens after the show?

You can round off the evening with a drink in the event area. The event area closes 30 minutes after the end of the show.

At 11 p.m. ALL lights (including the path lighting to the event area/entrance) will be switched off.

HOW LONG DOES THE SHOW LAST?
  • the show consists of 2 show blocks and lasts until approx. 22:15
  • There is a break of approx. 20 minutes between the show blocks

TICKETS

Where can I buy tickets?

Tickets are only available online at www.klangwelle-laxenburg.at. There is no box office!

How do I get my drinks package?

Directly after entering the event area, there is a catering stand where you will receive your drinks package on presentation of your ticket.

Is it possible to cancel?

Cancellations and refunds are excluded!

Is it possible to rebook?

Yes, with the rebooking option which you can add separately in the store.

The rebooking option allows you to rebook your ticket once. Tickets can only be rebooked to available contingents in the booked category. If a rebooking to the booked category is not possible, the ticket will be rebooked to the best possible cheaper category. Payment of the difference is excluded.

The rebooking option costs € 2.00 per seat.

Your rebooking request under support@magmag.at will be processed during our office hours, Monday to Friday 9 am to 4 pm.

Do fixed seats have to be booked?

Yes, fixed seats must be booked.

Does the Laxenburg Castle Annual Pass entitle me to free admission?

No!

PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

Is the Klangwelle barrier-free?

Yes, the event is fully accessible for people with walkers and wheelchairs.

Are there disabled parking spaces?

The free P1 parking lot is located directly in front of the main entrance to the castle park and is primarily intended for guests with physical disabilities.

There are 8 parking spaces available in the entrance area.

Are there wheelchair spaces at Klangwelle?

Yes, there are wheelchair spaces. The wheelchair spaces are specially marked in the online store.

WEATHER

Does the sound wave take place in all weather conditions?

The sound wave takes place in any weather – even when it rains.

Weather-related changes to our opening hours can always be found on our website.

If a weather-related closure occurs on our part, this will be displayed on our website and you will be notified via email.

Are umbrellas allowed?

Please be prepared for possible changes in the weather during your visit (waterproof clothing, etc.).

Please note that umbrellas are generally permitted in the park. However, due to the restricted visibility, opening umbrellas on the seats is not permitted.

PARK

Where can I park?

We offer free parking at the castle park entrance, please follow the parking guidance system in town.

Since P1 has a limited number of parking spaces, we ask you to also use P2 and keep P1 free for visitors with limited mobility. Please include the walk from the parking spaces to the entrance in your journey (P2 approx. 8 minutes to the main park entrance).

After the event, please leave the castle park via the illuminated path via the main entrance (P1).

Is there a shuttle from the entrance to the event area?

We do not offer a shuttle service. Availability is at the discretion of the train operator.

GASTRONOMY

Are there food and drink stands at the event area?

There are food and drink stands right at the event site, which offer food and drinks. You are welcome to take these to your seat.

The catering is open 2 hours before the show starts and up to 30 minutes after the show ends.

Are you allowed to bring your own food and drinks?

Out of consideration for our restaurateurs, the consumption of food and drinks brought from outside is not permitted.

How can I pay at the catering stands?

Only cash payment is possible at the catering stands.

Can the drinks package be booked at a later date?
